Product description
The R-29-300 engine was tested on the Su-17M and M2 variants offering a slight increase in speed and climb but with increased fuel comsumption. The Su-17 variants powered by this powerplant were rejected for use with the VVS it was cleared for export and eventually flew with the airforces of Afganistan, Angola, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Perú, Syria, Vietnam and Yemen (North and South). Colorful markings for Su-17/22 operated by these airforces as well as by the VVS are included in this comprehensive set.
Decal sheet for 12 colorful Tumansky R-29-300 engined Su-17 export variants flow by Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Peru, Syria and Vietnam air forces.
