Rafale M - Nato Tiger Meet 2017

The Rafale omnirole combat aircraft is produced as single and two-seater in the French Air and Space Force and Navy variants
featuring extensive commonality.
The Navy variant Rafale M is the only non-US type of fighter cleared to operate from the decks of US carriers, using their catapults
and their arresting gear.
With 9,500 kg of external carrying capability, the Rafale M regularly carries out "Quick Reaction Alert" (QRA) / air-defence / air
sovereignty missions, power projection and deployments for external missions, deep strike missions, air support for ground forces,
reconnaissance missions and pilot training sorties. The aircraft is operational in the French Navy and combat proven.
This livery was affixed for the NATO Tiger Meet 2017 exercise, which was held at the Landivisiau Naval Air Base.
The design was created by F. Ratajczak, and undertaken jointly by personnel from the Atelier Industriel de l'Aéronautique in Brittany
and the 11 F Flotilla.
In July 2017, during an air show organized by the Royal Navy at the Yeovilton base, the display by a pair of Rafale Ms won the trophy
for "Best Fixed Wing Display" for the second year in a row.
This trophy rewards the best air demonstration.
