Girl's MA-1 Flight Jacket (7-Patch/Pink)

The MA-1 bomber jacket (also known as the MA-1 flight jacket) was first developed in the mid 1950s. The MA-1 and its predecessor, the B-15 Flight Jacket, were needed at that time because the emergence of the jet age created new requirements for pilot performance, safety and comfort.Now available in pink children sizes! Patches and the classic Airplane Zipper are included on each jacket. Sizing: The sizing runs small on these jackets and we recommend ordering one size larger than you would normally order. We generally recommend that for average sized children, you buy a jacket one size larger than the age of the child. An average three year old would wear a size 4 Toddler, and an average sized eight year old would wear a size 10. This will allow some room for growth and lets a child wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath if they wish to. If the child is smaller or larger than average, please size accordingly.
Please note that the pink Girl's MA-1 Flight Jackets are tapered (like the real pilot jackets since there isn't a lot of extra room in the cockpit), and is close fitting. If a loose fit is desired, please order two sizes larger than the age of the child.
