The Grob Vigilant T1 motor glider is used by the Air Cadet Organisation giving Cadets an introduction to basic flying and gliding training. Presently in service with a number of Volunteer Gliding Squadrons around the United Kingdom the Vigilant is a cost-effective, modern aircraft that combined with good fuel economy makes for an excellent training aircraft.
