ARA (V1) “Independencia”

History of the first Argentine Aircaft carrier, ex HMS Warrior, Colossus class Same class as the Karel Doorman which incidentially also went to the Argentine Navy as successor to the Independecia. The steamcatapults of the Independencia were not strong enough for the newly bought Panthers (and later A4's) while the Doorman had stronger catapults fitted while in Dutch Service
