The Czechoslovak 311 Bomber Squadron is undoubtedly the most important unit of the British Air Force (RAF), in which Czechoslovak Airmen fought during the Second World War. But she was not the only one. This fact is less well known to the general public, so the author tries to point out some other units included in the organizational structures of RAF Air Force, which in 1940-1945 some of the Czechoslovak airmen worked. The Czechoslovak Airborne Air Force Flight readers of the RAF (Air Force Command), bomber, reconnaissance, or transport units of the Overseas Command (Overseas Command), 2nd TAF (Tactical Air Force) the British 2nd Tactical Air Force in Europe, the Coastal Command and the ATC Air Training Corps, which is a unit of basic aeronautical training. It also describes the conditions, times and environments in which our pilots moved. In conclusion, the Czechoslovak airmen who were dismissed from RAF VR for the purpose of serving in the USSR or the Czechoslovak liberated territory and briefly also the fate of some Czechoslovaks serving in the British Army.
