F15A/B Eagles (NASA)

In addition to being the backbone of the current USAF fighter lineup, the F-15 has also been operated by NASA for various research and flight test acitivities. This colorful decal sheet provides markings for several NASA Eagles, in addition to the colorful NASA ACTIVE and MTD technology demonstrator platforms.

The ACTIVE and MTD markings on the sheet are intended for advanced modelers, and please note that you will need to modify your F-15 kit to build an accurate ACTIVE or MTD jet - we recommend the resin conversion sets from BAM Models. The red and blue color areas on the NASA ACTIVE and MTD aircraft will need to be masked and hand painted, as we do not provide markings for these large areas that could vary in shape slightly from kit to kit.

We designed this sheet to fit the Hasegawa kit, but it should work with Monogram and GWH kits as well as any other dimensionally accurate 1/48 scale F-15 kit in the market.

The plain NASA aircraft on the sheet do not require any major modifications to the standard F-15 kits.
