Product description

Recreate one of Germany's most obscure and fascinating vintage airline liveries with this historically accurate decal set for the Vickers Viscount VC-808C in the original Air Commerz livery from 1971.

Air Commerz was a short-lived German charter airline that operated in the early 1970s, flying the elegant Vickers Viscount on leisure routes at a time when package holiday travel was just beginning to boom in West Germany. The airline ceased operations after only a few years, making its livery one of the rarest and most sought-after subjects in vintage German aviation modelling — virtually impossible to find as a commercial decal anywhere else.

This decal set faithfully reproduces the complete 1971 Air Commerz livery: fuselage titles, registration markings, tail insignia, and window frames — all researched from historical photographic and archival references.

What's included:

  • Full livery decals for the Vickers Viscount VC-808C (Air Commerz 1971)
  • Registration numbers and markings

Decal quality: Printed using high-resolution digital printing technology, delivering sharp edges, accurate colors, and excellent durability. White areas are fully opaque — safe for use on both light and dark painted surfaces.

Compatible model kits: Airfix Viscount, and other 1/144–1/48 scale Vickers Viscount variants.

Perfect for: Vintage German airline modelers, Vickers Viscount enthusiasts, and collectors of rare 1970s European airline liveries.
