Product description

Th MiG-23 aircraft in Czech Air Force in particular with its unique concept with variable geometry wings was the only kind in the history of the Czechoslovak and later Czech Air Force. She was not a legend substantially as numerous MiG-21, or a short-acting MiG 29 completely new concept. Yet fighter Triadvacítky represented a significant qualitative shift especially in our system of air defense. The inclusion of the first MiG-23 fighters in service with the 1st Fighter Aviation Regiment in Czech Budejovice occurred in 1978. At the same airport started, a year before the author of the book, Stanislav Rogl on the technology and the profession was true for two decades. Almost throughout his military career and spent the Triadvacítkami. By the time the MiG 23 were still in active service, but already became apparent that the Air Force is taking direction fast track to great reduction associated primarily with the constant interference of services and technology, the author decided to stack the actual data for each aircraft while to collect countless memories of those who served Triadvacítkách. In their efforts continued even after leaving the army to a career MiG 23 fighter in the Air Force was mapped until their final retirement in 1998.
's book is unique in that it was written by someone who was "there" and his story interleaves and contemporary contexts and events, which sometimes is not directly related to the service MiG 23 in our Air Force, but perfectly the atmosphere of those days. Although the book is comprehensive, and by far does not contain all other memories together with biographies of all MiG-23 will next book, entitled Triadvacítky.
