Th MiG-23 aircraft in Czech Air Force in particular with its unique concept with variable geometry wings was the only kind in the history of the Czechoslovak and later Czech Air Force. She was not a legend substantially as numerous MiG-21, or a short-acting MiG 29 completely new concept. Yet fighter Triadvacítky represented a significant qualitative shift especially in our system of air defense. The inclusion of the first MiG-23 fighters in service with the 1st Fighter Aviation Regiment in Czech Budejovice occurred in 1978. At the same airport started, a year before the author of the book, Stanislav Rogl on the technology and the profession was true for two decades.
