Product description

IThe L-39 Albatros is synonymous with the Czechoslovak and Czech aviation industry. Although it was made in a smaller number than its predecessor, the L-29, it was much more extended and fame. The lacy curves of the machine are not elegant even for half a century after prototype takeoff, and for many airplanes Albatros is still an irreplaceable part of the air force, and for many private owners, the L-39 is a popular way to fulfill your dream of flying. The challenging years of development has boosted the creators in a great design featuring excellent flight characteristics, operational durability and easy handling. Celebrities behind L-39, headed by Ing. Jan Vlcek and Ing. Karel Dlouhy, despite the belief in their work, certainly did not know what fame the aircraft would achieve and how wide the effort would be. Looking at the service for all users, the incredible flexibility of the L-39 will enable him to perform a wide range of tasks, ranging from ground and air attacks, exploration, professional group acrobatics to research flights and cosmonaut training. Certainly, there is no exaggeration to say that the list of tasks filled with the L-39 aircraft is the widest of all the jet engines in the world.
The timeliness and goodness of the construction witnesses and the amount of modification. There is no other military airplane in the world that would be driven in different variants by five completely different engines. And although, for example, the L-159 aircraft in much of their original design have moved away, they are still the obvious followers of the L-39 family. Without exaggeration, it is also possible to say that the Czechoslovak aerospace industry was literally built on the L-39 and its followers, as it was necessary to develop, test and manufacture a number of components with which the local industry had no experience. Thanks to this, Czechoslovakia has ranked among the few countries in the world that have managed to manufacture a complete jet, including complex components such as an engine or a shooting seat. The L-39 still holds a number of world leaderships that will never be overcome, and which proves to be a great success for the successful and successful product of our industry. Just mention the service of four dozen military operators, showcasing more than a dozen show teams, raiding over five million hours, or serving in all weather and climate conditions.
The Magnet Press publishes a unique monograph of this airplane, which contains complete overviews of versions, production and military and civilian users, airplane history, technical descriptions, and tables. There are more than 500 unique photos in it. The publication is in Czech language, resume in English, German, French and Russian. The book is full-color, A4, fixed binding, 250 pages, on chalk paper.
PLEAS NOTE: Text unfortunately only in Czech but the 1000's of colour pictures make up for it
There is a summary in Engilsh, German and French though
