Product description
The Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker is a twin-engine multirole fighter (S version, with ability of attacking ground targets) / pure fighter-interceptor aircraft (P version). In 1992 after collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukrainian AF inherited a substantial number of various aircraft, including up to 67 Su-27s of S, P and UB variants. In the next two decades, due to funding shortages, some airframes were permanently withdrawn, sold or put into temporary storage. In 2012 Zaporozhye State Aviation Repair Factory "?????????" started overhauling the Su-27s, with partial modernization to Su-27S1M/P1M and UB1M/UP1M standard. Overhauled Su-27s feature a distinctive pixel camouflage in two variants (applied in 2012-15 and after 2015) distinguishable by different light blue colour on upper surfaces.
HTK-AS96 include standard colours of Ukrainian Su-27 fleet in pixel camouflage. The sets contain:
- HTK-A103 Traffic Red - The best match for colour of internal surfaces of various bays / doors of Su-27 family (incl. wheel hubs, air brake)
- HTK-A221 Willow Green The best match for colour of wheel rims of Ukrainian Su-27s in pixel camouflage (after overhaul / modernization)
- HTK-A220 True Blue Since 2012 used on upper surfaces of Ukrainian Su-27 fleet in pixel camouflage (after overhaul / modernization)
- HTK-A264 Pearl Grey Since 2012 used on upper surfaces of Ukrainian Su-27 fleet in pixel camouflage (after overhaul / modernization)
- HTK-A319 Light Sea Blue - Used between 2012-15 on upper surfaces of Ukrainian Su-27s in pixel camouflage (after overhaul / modernization)
- HTK-A320 Medium Sea Blue - Since 2015 used on upper surfaces of Ukrainian Su-27 fleet in pixel camouflage (after overhaul / modernization)
- HTK-A321 Extra Light Sea Blue - Since 2012 used on lower surfaces of Ukrainian Su-27 fleet in pixel camouflage (after overhaul / modernization)
- HTK-A265 Neutral Grey - The best match for colour of nose cone / radio-transparent elements of Ukrainian Su-27 fleet in pixel camouflage
