During the time of the war, the Blenheim was the number one of Finlands most significant bombers. Almost one hundred machines made in England and Finland, representing six very different production lines.
They offer an interesting item to the miniature model and to the reader interested in the history of the Finnish Air Force. For the first time in this book, it has been the first attempt to present series-specific differences as well as bomb load, defense equipment, radio equipment, and even fuel quantities.
Also painting and marking of different series, skiing and many smaller differences are discussed. Mallari is interested in these differences in the detail, but equally interesting is their impact on the tactical use of machines.
The presentation is supported by an abundance of time-photographs and manual drawings, supplemented by new images of a museum computer and various accessories, as well as scaled-down drawings, from which the specific differences are highlighted.
Paintings and markings are presented in color schemes. 112 pages, lots of photos and 8 pages of color drawings. A real mallet information.
This book has been presented to celebrate 50 years of IPMS Finland.
unfortunately it is only in finnish but the bictures, drawings and profiles are invaluable sources of information never seen before package.
