Bring the engineering beneath the Hurricane’s cowling to life with our highly detailed Hawker Hurricane Mk I Engine Set.
Developed from original drawings, period photographs and technical references, the set recreates the Merlin installation together with the surrounding airframe structure and equipment – including bulkheads, spars, inner girders, engine mounting structure, landing gear bay details, tanks, equipment, hand-crank mechanism with BTH AS3 magneto, extensive pipework and cowling support structure.
Particular attention has been paid to structural profiles, brackets, joints, fasteners and other details visible on the original aircraft.
Each version is individually adapted and test-fitted to the specific kit, with the aim of achieving excellent fit whilst keeping modifications to the original kit to a minimum. Please select the appropriate kit and scale when ordering.
