Product description

The MG-21 served Czechoslovak fighter air force for more than 30 years. This publication focuses on the service of the MiG21R and M airplane in Czechoslovakia

The first MiG-21F-13, whose less than 30 years of service has been recalled by the four booklets in the Aero series. Subsequent versions of the MiG-21PF and PFM were supplied from 1964, respectively. 1966 and their slightly shorter service ended around 1990. They were also delivered in significantly less numbers than the MiG-21F-13, but even so
it is worth remembering their career in Czechoslovakia. With their introduction the Czechoslovak Air Force received the first fighter aircraft capable of conducting combat activity in all weather

From 1962 to 1968, the first two generations of MiG21's were with the the fighter regiments. This period is characteristic of fighter regiments PVOS concurrent service narrowly specialized versions - daily front fighter MiG-21F-13, and overflow versions of the MiG-21PF and PFM, equipped with on-board radar. At the turn of the 60s and 70s, a specialized reconnaissance version of the MiG-21R comes into service. The publication continues with a description of another version in Czechoslovak Air Force - the MiG-21 M, a multipurpose fighter aircraft designed to conduct aerial combat, overflow prosecution in the PVOS system, and also to conduct attacks on ground targets
