Grumman F14A Tomcat replacement Canopy set (Tamiya)

Replacement canopy for the F14A Tomcat for the 1/32 Tamiya kit.
This is a canopy set developed from the kit parts. The size and the shape of the canopy has not been changed. The reason for this recast canopy is due to the major distortion found in many of the kits as supplied. The centre seam is also quite heavy on the kit canopies so that is removed and almost all the distortions have been removed. Those that have the kit will know that this is a very large canopy and is certainly the largest canopy thus far I have cast. The 'omega' shape to the canopy also makes the casting and moulding quite tricky. With this In mind I had to cast the main section from the rear so some careful clean up around the canopy hinge points will be required.

Remove from the casting stubs with sharp fine, razor saw, sharp blade scribing, or a cutting disc on a rotary tool.
When attaching to the fuselage, even when using super glue the parts will not bloom like plastic parts. However still do take care.
