Matra R530K Missile

This High Planes accessory set includes the 3D printed Matra R.550 K. The R.550.K was a first generation guided air to air missile. It used a semi active radar homing head in combination with the Cyrano II radar. The Cyrano would paint the target and the missile homed in on the reflected signal. The Matra R.550 K was usually exported as the primary air to air missile for the Mirage IIIC/E family.

Before using, the parts should be washed with dishwashing detergent and primed with spray primer. Light sanding may be needed to remove print strata marks.

The set includes laser printed continuous sheet decals for the serial numbers. We did not include the stripes as decals as it is easier to paint these due to the location.
