Continuing with the Mosquito marathon in the WPA series, Ian Thirsk now turns his attentions to the Fighter Bombers. Again, we had far too much material to fit into one volume, so this
one covers the intruders and 2nd TAF aircraft in this first part, with Coastal Command, 100 Group and other FB VIs being covered in the second part.
Ian was of course Head of Collections and Research at the RAFM and has also been a volunteer member of the DH Museum’s Mosquito restoration team for over forty years, so is the perfect author for such a task.
Once again, the author has unearthed some incredibly detailed interior photos of actual wartime Mosquitos, making this a truly essential guide for any modeller, or indeed, any modelling company.
