Bring your model to life with this highly detailed FFV 30 mm Akan Pod, as carried by the SK 60B/C, the 37 Viggen system, and the Austrian SAAB 105Ö.
The pod was originally designed by the French arms manufacturer S.A. Engins Matra on behalf of the Swedish Air Board (Kungliga Flygförvaltningen) for use on the Swedish SK 60 B & C version and the 37 Viggen system. It was then series-produced by Förenade Fabriksverken (FFV) between 1970 and 1974, after which it entered their product line as the FFV 30 mm Akan Pod. The pod was armed with the powerful 30 mm ADEN cannon (akan m/55).
Our 1/48 scale kit has been CAD-engineered and 3D-printed in ultra-high resolution, capturing every rivet, curve, and panel line with crisp precision. The pod can be built fully opened, with both the front and rear covers displayed to reveal the ADEN cannon and its ammunition in stunning detail.
