1/48 Wickers K - light machine gun, Great Britain, pre-war and WWII period, used among others in DB-7 Boston III (A-20G Havoc)
The Vickers K, often referred to as the Vickers GO (Gas Operated), was a British light machine gun developed in the 1930s. It was known for its high rate of fire and was widely used by the British armed forces during World War II, particularly by the Air Force.
As for the Boston III, it was an American twin-engine Douglas DB-7 bomber aircraft used by Britain and other Allied countries under the name Boston. Some versions of the Boston III were armed with Vickers K machine guns as defensive armament, usually in the upper gunnery bay, to provide protection against enemy fighters
