In 2020, it will be 15 years since the termination of the MiG-21 service in the Air Force of the Army of the Czech Republic, and at the same time ended 54 years of operation design aircraft MiG in the former Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. The last specimens of this type in the version of the MiG-21MF / MFN served in June 2005 in the air defense system of the Czech Republic and the North Atlantic Alliance, ie alongside former arch enemies, which is a historical paradox. They were thus the last reminiscence of former times, when MS. and the Czech Air Force was dominated by combat aircraft of Soviet origin. The publication describes those about 35 years of service last in MS. and the Czech Air Force included a combat version of the MiG-21, also called "emefka".
