The Dassault Mirage 2000 multi-role aircraft represents the pinnacle of the highly successful Mirage series. It is the last representative of the classic design school with a typical delta wing. For the French manufacturer, it was another groundbreaking type, which despite its conventional appearance concealed many new technologies, be it FBW electro-impulse control, FADEC electro-mechanical engine control, pulse Doppler radar or digital buses for communication of on-board systems. And it is precisely the richness of its equipment and France's reluctance to give up some of its elements and their domestic development that are the reasons why this aircraft was created as a fully French one, although it has its original roots in European cooperation. It is therefore an important carrier of technological development, without which the French industry could not work on the subsequent Rafale type. However, the Mirage 2000 is not just an intermediate type, it is a very successful representative of fourth-generation machines with several foreign users who often continue to rely on this model. And the fact that it is a successful type even four decades after its takeoff is evidenced not only by its successful combat deployment in the colors of France or among export users, but also by its recent successes in Ukraine, where local pilots are effectively fighting against drones, for example. The publication is A4 format, full-color on high-quality coated paper, V2 binding, 52 pages, many photos, color side views.
